Ecological Transition and Resilience Office at the City of Montréal, Planning Advisor
Irène Cloutier is planning advisor at the Ecological Transition and Resilience Office at the City of Montréal. She has contributed, since 2016, to the development of Montréal’s Resilient City Strategy through her expertise in organizational and urban resilience, critical infrastructure protection and the integration of resilience thinking in sustainable development. She currently coordinates the implementation of the Montréal’s urban resilience action plan and is developing the social equity and community resilience section of Montréal upcoming Climate Plan. From 2005 to 2016, she worked in R&D at Polytechnique Montréal where she participated in the development of a critical infrastructure (CI) interdenpendency tool and on studies on organizational resilience. She has been a speaker at conferences on regional/urban resilience and CI protection and has published articles on resilience governance issues. She holds a master’s degree from the Université de Montréal.
